Child Care Teachers for the Macomb Center

PACT Head Start/WIU Child Care is accepting resumes for full-time Child Care Teachers for the Macomb Center.  Need minimum of 60 credit hours with 6 in early childhood, one year experience working with young children, and ability to meet DCFS requirements.  Pay starts at $10.62 per hour, with extra for college degree. Assistant Site Supervisor for the Macomb Center

PACT Head Start/WIU Child Care is seeking applicants for an Assistant Site Supervisor for the Macomb Center.  This is a full-time position – 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, year-round.  Must be 21 years of age or older.  Pay starts at $14.37 per hour, with extra pay for college degree.  Requires:

A) Sixty-four (64) semester hours of credit from an accredited college or university with 21 semester or equivalent quarter hours in courses related directly to child care and/or child development from birth to age six, and;

B) Either a Gateways to Opportunity Level 1 Illinois Director Credential or 3 semester hours of college credit in administration, leadership, or management.

Mental Health Consultant

PACT for West Central Illinois is seeking a Licensed or Certified Mental Health Professional with expertise in serving young children and their families.  The position is part-time and contractual, and requires a flexible schedule. Services are needed annually from mid-August to July 1st. The Consultant will operate in 3 to 4 counties of our eight county service area.  Duties include observations of classrooms and socializations, consultation with staff and parents, participation in Family Support Plans, social-emotional based family workshops, and availability for families & staff in crisis. Early Head Start Home-Based Teacher for the Cass County Area

PACT is announcing the opening for an EHS Home Based Teacher for the Cass County (Beardstown) area.  This is a full-time, year-round position.  Pay starts at $12.95 per hour with extra for college education.  Benefits include paid vacation, sick days, personal time, 13 paid Holidays, winter break, life insurance, and affordable health insurance.  Qualifications include:

A)                      Must be 21 years of age or older, have a High School Diploma or GED, and have a valid driver’s license; and

B)                      Must be willing to obtain Home-Based CDA Credential within 18 months; or

C)                      Prefer a home-based CDA credential or comparable credential, or equivalent coursework as part of an associate’s or bachelor’s degree.

Floating Early Head Start Teacher for the Macomb Center

PACT is accepting resumes for the position of Floating EHS Teacher for the Macomb Center.  This is a full-time, year-round position, with hours of 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.   Qualifications include:

A)          Must be 21 years of age or older, and

B)          Have Associate, Bachelor, or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education and be trained (or have equivalent coursework) with a focus on infant/toddler development; or

C)          Have a degree in a related field and 21 hours in Early Childhood with experience teaching infants & toddlers and be trained (or have equivalent coursework) with a focus on infant/toddler development: or

D)          Completion of the Infant/Toddler credentialing program of the CDA National Credentialing Award System with a current credential as an Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate, completion of 12 semester hours or equivalent quarter hours in courses directly related to child care and/or child development from birth to age 6, and proof of two years (3120 clock hours) child development experience in a nursery school, kindergarten, or licensed day care center.
