Center Based Transporter — Beardstown Center
PACT is announcing the opening for a Center Based Transporter for the Beardstown Center. This position is full-time, part year. Hours will vary depending on the bus routes.
Qualifications:
- Education equivalent to completion of 12th grade; must be 21 years of age
- Proof of three years consecutive Illinois driver's license with no violations
- Ability to obtain an Illinois School Bus Driver's Permit within four months of hire
- Ability and willingness to follow and comply with written and verbal directions, assignments, and instructions from appropriate Supervisory staff
- Ability to drive program and/or personal vehicles to and from homes of clients for medical, dental, and other program activities
- Valid Illinois driver's license, school bus driver's permit, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance required
- Ability to sit for long periods (2–4 hours) while riding in and driving vehicles
- Ability to tolerate varying weather conditions during transportation of clients
- Must pass a medical examination certifying freedom from communicable disease and drug screening upon hire and annually thereafter
- Must consent to chemical testing for alcohol at any time while operating agency vehicles

Infant/Toddler Teacher – Early Head Start (PACT)
PACT for West Central Illinois is hiring a full-time Infant/Toddler Teacher for our Early Head Start classroom in Quincy. This is a year-round, Monday–Friday position — no nights, no weekends.
What you'll do: Support the early learning and development of infants and toddlers in a Head Start classroom setting, working closely with families as partners in their child's growth.

What qualifies you (any one of the following):

- An Infant/Toddler CDA credential, plus 12 semester hours in child development coursework and 2 years (3,120 hours) of experience in a nursery school, kindergarten, or licensed child care center

Head Start Center-Based Teacher — Camp Point
PACT for West Central IL is seeking applicants for Head Start Center-Based Teachers for our Center in Camp Point. These are full-time positions, Monday through Friday, 42 weeks per year. Benefits include 14 paid holidays, vacation days, personal leave, sick time, 2-week winter break, life insurance, and affordable health, vision, and dental insurance. Starting pay is $20.64 per hour, with extra for college degree.
Qualifications: Must be 19 years of age or older, and
- Must have an Associate, Bachelor, or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education, OR
- A degree in a related field and 21 hours in Early Childhood with experience teaching preschool children, OR
- A BA/BS degree and be admitted into the Teach For America program
