Cook - Camp Point
We are seeking applicants for the Cook position at the Camp Point Center.
This Cook position is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, year-round. Starting pay is
$16.87 per hour.
Qualifications:
- Requires education equivalent to completion of the 12th grade and the ability to obtain/maintain
- a Food Protection Manager Certificate within 3 months of employment.
- Requires knowledge of quantity food selection and quantity food preparation, storage and
- handling techniques.
- Requires the ability to meet all DCFS licensing requirements for employees including the ability
- to pass a medical examination certifying freedom from communicable disease upon offer of
- employment, and authorization for background check.
Camp Point EHS Float Teacher
We are seeking applicants for Early Head Start Center-Based Float Teacher at the Camp Point Center.
This EHS CB Float Teacher is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, year-round. Starting
pay is $19.69 per hour. Float Early Head Start Center-Based Teachers may be assigned to other
centers, as needed
Qualifications:
- QUALIFICATIONS
- A) Must be 19 years of age or older, and
- B) Must have an Associate or higher in Early Childhood Education and be trained (or have
- equivalent coursework) with a focus on infant/toddler development OR
- C) a degree in a related field and 21 hours in Early Childhood with experience teaching
- infants & toddlers and be trained (or have equivalent coursework) with a focus on
- infant/toddler development OR
- D) Completion of the Infant/Toddler credentialing program of the CDA National
- Credentialing Award System with a current credential as an I/T Child Development
- Associate, completion of 12 semester hours or equivalent quarter hours in courses
- directly related to child care and/or child development from birth to age six, and proof of
- two years experience (3120) clock hours child development experience in a nursery
- school, kindergarten, or licensed day care center OR
- E) Completion of Gateways Level 2 Infant/Toddler Credential or higher
Center Based Transporter — Beardstown Center
PACT is announcing the opening for a Center Based Transporter for the Beardstown Center. This position is full-time, part year. Hours will vary depending on the bus routes.
Qualifications:
- Education equivalent to completion of 12th grade; must be 21 years of age
- Proof of three years consecutive Illinois driver's license with no violations
- Ability to obtain an Illinois School Bus Driver's Permit within four months of hire
- Ability and willingness to follow and comply with written and verbal directions, assignments, and instructions from appropriate Supervisory staff
- Ability to drive program and/or personal vehicles to and from homes of clients for medical, dental, and other program activities
- Valid Illinois driver's license, school bus driver's permit, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance required
- Ability to sit for long periods (2–4 hours) while riding in and driving vehicles
- Ability to tolerate varying weather conditions during transportation of clients
- Must pass a medical examination certifying freedom from communicable disease and drug screening upon hire and annually thereafter
- Must consent to chemical testing for alcohol at any time while operating agency vehicles
